Mayfair in the Grove is art itself! Designed in the Art Nouveau style associated with famed Barcelona Architect Antoni Gaudi, Mayfair’s sculptured walls are covered with tiles, artwork, hanging gardens, murals and embedded bas-relief artworks and other architectural details. There’s an open-air promenade lined with shops and galleries with a tiled fountain and seating areas that invite one to linger. The tree-shaded sidewalks of Mayfair are filled with interesting boutiques, cool shops and world-class entertainment.

Mayfair hosts art shows, gallery openings, adult and children’s art classes (at the Windish Hunt Gallery), two weekly green markets (Wednesdays from 11-6, and Saturday from 11-5), and live music. The Coconut Grove Art Stroll is held here on the first Saturday of the month with 40 artists, dance shows and a concert. Every third weekend the Mayfair Antique Market draws dozens of the area’s top antique and collectibles dealers who set up on the Promenade and at an indoor gallery. Every Friday night is “Friday Fest” on the Promenade where you can listen to Broadway Show Tunes, watch a movie or be entertained by buskers and street comics… all for free!
