Casa Valentina’s mission is to help youth transition successfully from foster care to independent living. To achieve our mission:

We provide former foster youth in Miami-Dade County with comprehensive case management services, life skills and self-advocacy training, and the support services they need to become successful, independent adults. These services are offered in a gender-specific residential program for young women in the City of Miami and in a non-residential program open to all former foster youth living in the City of Miami Gardens.

We engage in advocacy within the child welfare system to ensure our residents, and all transitioning foster youth, have access to the resources and services they need to achieve autonomy.

We conduct community outreach and offer education and training on critical foster care issues to create greater awareness and support for youth exiting foster care.

Casa Valentina’s vision is a community in which all foster children receive the care and support they need to reach their full potential.
