Dan Bondroff is an award winning artist living in Miami, Florida. Dan is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and graduated from Towson University in 1994. In 2003, Dan moved to Miami and has immersed himself in the local art scene. Current exhibitions include Commodore Gallery of Art and Design, The Hyatt Regency Downtown Miami, and at his studio in Wynwood’s Bakehouse Art Complex. At his studio, Dan participates in the monthly Wynwood gallery walks. As well, he does demonstrations for both local art guilds and for the public. Dan also teaches after-school programs and workshops for Miami-Dade Magnet Program applicants.

Dan’s work is primarily landscape. He is inspired by the beauty in every day scenes. His medium of choice is soft pastel, but does occasional pieces in oil paint, charcoal and graphite. His recent national honors include Second Place at American Landscapes National Juried Exhibition in Annapolis, Maryland and inclusion in this past year’s American Artist’s Professional League’s 80th Grand National Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club in New York. Locally, jurors who have included his work into shows include Claire Breukel, Frederick Snitzer and Diane Camber.
